Today I wanted to share a card that I made for Keva's, one of my fellow Posse members, birthday last week. Now that I know she's receive it I won't spoil the surprise.
On this card I wanted to try the ribbon technique Nichole has demonstrated before on a video. It turned out really well, IMO, and I'll try it again in the future. I used the Fiskars Treading Water Punch for the scallops and covered up the holes with the Plum Pudding cardstock to achieve the look I wanted.
Supplies
Stamps :: PTI - Big & Bold Wishes, Round & Round
Ink :: PTI - Plum Pudding
Cardstock :: PTI - Rustic Cream, Lavender Moon, Plum Pudding
Other :: PTI- Lavender Moon Saddle Stitch Ribbon; Fiskars - Treading Water Punch.
I hope everyone is having a great lazy Sunday. We had a very long trip to and from a wedding Tim was in yesterday - I got hit by a large blue kiddie pool on the interstate. Luckily my car didn't sustain anything other than cosmetic damage. We're packing this week getting ready for vacation - we leave Friday night for Asheville, NC - my FAVORITE place to visit! We'll be there through our 1st anniversary then headed back to the real world!
Thanks for stopping by and taking a look.
