New Stamp Storage

Recently I have been running into an issue we all probably have - storage for crafting supplies. The house DH and I live in currently is a TINY 2 bed. We share the spare room for all of our hobbies - which means it serves as an office, craft area, and library. As my  PTI collection expands finding room to store the CD cases is becoming increasingly difficult. Recently I saw this video about storing stamps in a Tim Holtz Ideaology refill folder and I thought it was genius! I found them on at Scrapbooking Warehouse for $2.66 for 5 folders. I got some clear sheets at Micheals to use on the inside. Last night I finished converting all of the CD cases to folders and I couldn't be more thrilled!

This is what my 2009 Holiday Tags set looks like in the folder. It takes a little bit of work to make the $24 sets to fit -you can't just stick both stickers on like they come - but for me it was definitely worth it.

I also used sticky magnetic sheets back to back in a folder for my dies. I have my PTI dies in one and my Spellbinder Nesties in another. They can grow as my collection grows as well. Here's my PTI die collection now

Right now I have a total of 39 sets stored in a $3 basket from Micheals. As it continues to grow I will get another basket, but for now everything fits.

I hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Thanks for stopping by!

This is a great space saving system. I live in a one bedroom apartment and I'm always looking for creative storage solutions. Thanks for sharing.
