Wow! It's been forever since I sat down to write a post. I'm still in vacation mode and getting up to go to work in the morning has not been fun this week!
This month I'm the Hostess over at the Papertrey Posse blog this month and the first petite challenge I issued was to go back to the beginning - to pull out the first stamp set you purchased from PTI, dust it off, and tell everyone how you found this great company we all are every so slightly addicted to.
I first found PTI through Robyn at My Pink Stamper. My first paper crafting love was my Cricut - and it still holds a special place in my heart, and a lot of space in my craft room...Robyn does a lot of super cute cards using her cards and simple sentiments. I first was drawn to PTI when Robyn used some of the Mega Mixed Message sentiments on her cards. I stopped by looked around and was hooked. The first set I ordered was Handwritten Notes. I love the whole handwriting concept.
The card I made for this challenge is actually one I sent to Jessica for her birthday last week.
This card was inspired by a card Dawn McVey created a long time ago - probably during the initial release (I can't seem to find it now).
Supplies
Stamps :: PTI - Background Basics - Retro, Handwritten Notes
Ink :: PTI - Summer Sunrise, Fresh Snow, Raspberry Fizz, Dark Chocolate
Cardstock :: PTI - Stampers Select White, Raspberry Fizz, Berry Sorbet, Summer Sunrise, Lemon Tart
Other :: PTI- Plum Pudding Grosgrain Ribbon; Fiskars - Treading Water Punch;
I hope everyone is having a great week. I hope to blog our vacation soon.
Thanks for stopping by
Amy

And I absolutely love it. I still have it sitting on my desk along with the one Keva sent me.
I really love this card and I have got to get that Retro set. So cool how one stamp set can create all of the super fun detail in this card.
Beautiful color scheme! Reminds me of a sunset!
