It takes a long time to grow an old friend

I have to say I'm really proud of this card - especially since I used all scraps.
This card has several firsts - the first time I used my new BB:Woodgrain, the first time I used Forest Friends - a set I won from a Paper Crafts Mag. contest, and the first time I've used a non-ribbon fiber on a card.

I hope everyone is enjoying the long weekend!

Thanks for looking

Ames

It looks great! I love using twine and hemp fibers, perfect for a more masculine, less frou-frou look. :)

Great card. I really, really like those woodgrain background stamps. I spent a whole evening last week making them for later use.

That woodgrain stamp is way up on my list of favorite stamps. You did a great job with your card. The tree trunk goes really well with the woodgrain and twine.
