February Parade of Blogs

Hey there!

Did you get snow last night? We had a beautiful week last week with temps in the 70s and then BAM! Snow!

Tonight I wanted to make a little something for my co-worker's daughter. Tomorrow is her 6th birthday.

This month Maggie challenged us to use our favorites. My favorites here are: felt, kraft, polka dots, the "doily" limitless layer die.

I used this tutorial by Maile Belles for the flowers.

Papertrey Posse September Parade of Blogs

I have to admit I dropped the ball on the Papertrey Posse September challenge. I sat down to re-read the challenge this weekend and realized I'd recently made a card fitting the criteria - what luck!

For Christmas last year my MIL bought me some stamps that were on my wishlist. I had inked them all up except the 2009 Autumn Tags. I love the tags sets from PTI and that they work with so many different sets and dies now!

Here is the card I made using the tags:

I am still loving plaids created with Distressed Stripes. So fun!

Supplies
Stamps :: PTI - Distressed Stripes, 2009 Autumn Tags

Ink :: PTI - Dark Chocolate, Orange Zest, Ripe Avocado, Terracotta Tile
Cardstock :: PTI - Vintage Cream, Kraft, Ripe Avocado
Other :: PTI - Fillable Frames #1 die, Mat Stack #2 die, 1 3/4" circle punch

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!

Papertrey Posse Parade of Blogs - June

Happy Tuesday Everyone!

Today I'm back with our first full Papertrey Posse Challenge hosted this month by Jessica

The challenge this month was use this sketch to create a card:
Isn't the sketch great?!

I chose to follow very closely to the sketch and break out another set of mine that hasn't seen much ink.

I am in love with the daisies in Friends til the End and I suspect I'll be reaching for it a lot more now that I've broken it in. The vintage cream ink on the Hibiscus Burst paper looks much better IRL.

Supplies
Stamps :: PTI - Friends til the End

Ink :: PTI - Vintage Cream, Hibiscus Burst
Cardstock :: PTI - Kraft, Dark Chocolate, Ripe Avocado, Hibiscus Burst,
Other :: PTI- Brown Rhinestones;

I can't wait to see what everyone else came up with!
