For the last couple of weeks my craft has been, well, a disaster. My DH repainted, my mom and I have been working on some floating shelves made from hollow doors and a paper storage system that will work for me.
Well today the shelves were installed and everything is in place. I'm so excited to be able to get back in there and get crafty again.
I love that it's so bright and colorful - it really is inspiring!
My favorite part is the new storage space for my paper
We took an unfinished cube from Michaels and used 3/8" square wooden spacers and foam poster board. I used a 3" piece of grosgrain ribbon to show which color is in that space. Now I can see each color (and how much I have so I can keep a better inventory.)

Wow love the bright, cheery color of your room! I'd definitely be inspired sitting in that space. Now can you come over and do my room too? It's a blah, white space overfilled with my crafting supplies, home office, and kids toys! ;oP

I painted my room recently too and it looks almost identical to yours. What color did you use?
Cara - the walls are painted Rushing Stream from Lowes and the green is custom mixed to match the baskets.
Love the paper storage idea! How great to not have to shuffle through the entire stack to find the right colour!

nice choices! What table is that you've got? Is it from Ikea? (I just bought an island, failed epically because it doesn't fit up my attic stairs so I need to get a table too!)
Caroline - that table is actually one I've had for several years. My Dad made it for me as a desk when I was in college and I've used it in my crafting space after that. I think it's a piece of MDF cut and stained, then just some square legs just screwed into the bottom.
