More Baby Shower

Testing...Testing...1,2, 3.

Anyone left out there in blogland?

I have been MIA for awhile. Life has gotten in the way of blogging, but I have a ton of stuff to post, so I hope to be back regularly soon.

I wanted to show the last of the baby shower projects I have.

I made a banner out of paper bags like Jen Carter did here. By the time I got done with it though you couldn't really tell they will paper bags anymore.

I used PTI Plum Pudding Bitty Dots, Bitty Stars, Bitty Boxes, and Dotti Biscotti paper to make the medallions. I stamped the white paper bags with A Little Argyle, 2 different polka dots from Polka Dot Basics  II, and Distressed Stripes in Plum Pudding ink, and tied them together with Plum Pudding twill ribbon.

The next project I completed was a Baby Book using PTI's Birthday Book Pages and a Color Couture Binder. I have to give a special thank you to Deb (babydal57) for sending me this binder when mine was MIA in transit from Cincinnati to my house.
I used Dotti Biscotti paper as a base for my design, with a strip of Plum Pudding grosgrain down the middle. For the focal point I cut two of the Mat Stack 3 die from PTI, and cut off the top circle. It still wasn't long enough for the name, so I pieced it together in the middle. To make the mat I taped the die onto a piece of Vintage Cream cardstock with removable adhesive and used and craft knife to cut around the edges, piecing it together like before. I stamped the baby's name in Vintage cream ink with PTI's Outline Alphabet and finished it off with a grosgrain bow, cream button, and twine.

I really love how these came out.

Thanks for stopping by!
