Card Camp

**tap-tap**

Hi there.

I know, I know, I've been MIA again. I hope you're still here.

Summer Card Camp started yesterday, and I am so excited! It's only the second day and I can feel my mojo starting to return. Now if we can just get the AC into my craft room over the weekend, I might actually get some cards posted! (Yep, that was a HUGE hint to my hubby who actually reads here!)

I can't tell you how excited I am that this card camp is all about color! Color challenges are toughest for me and I'm hopeful this will help me stretch my creativity and get me thinking outside the box.

I broke out some new Verve Stamp sets and the more I use them, the more I love the sentiments and font choices Julie makes!

I love bright colors, but I just couldn't get these to work for me, so I decided to mute them a little by stamping off first on the purple and orange.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Stamps: Blue Skies and Kind Words (Verve)
Die: Picket Fence (PTI)
Cardstock: Stampers Select White, Kraft, Spring Rain (PTI)
Ink: Plum Pudding, Orange Zest, Hibiscus Burst (PTI)

Great card, Amy, and super job on muting the colors. Have to agree these colors were outside of my comfort zone too, but I made mine quite bold and bright. Looks like there will be lots of entries by the time the week is over, but isn't it fun so far? Happy stamping!

I'm so happy to see a project from you! :) Great card! I couldn't swing the card camp, but I am seeing so many great projects inspired by the camp on my blog hopping. Love, love the sentiment and love how you muted the colors a bit. It gives it such a soft and pretty look!

Great card, Amy! What a fab idea to mute the colors...maybe I'll try this again and mute, too! I'm not crazy about this color scheme, either, but I guess that's what it's all about! Looking forward to a great month!
