Valentine's Day Treats

I have been busy perfecting my procrastination skills, and with just under 2 hours before V-day, I've finally finished my projects.

For each holiday I try to do something special for some of the other teachers at my hubby's school. These ladies work really hard, and it's always nice to be able to put a smile on the faces.

For Valentine's Day I made some chocolate covered Oreos (like I did here) and packaged them in mailbox tins from the $1 spot at Target. I wanted to dress the tins up a bit, so I made a tag to hang on the flag.

Here is a close-up of the tag. I picked up the ribbon at Michael's and used as it my inspiration for my color scheme.

I made Almond Poppyseed mini-loaves for my team at work. I used the same tags on these, and  made a corresponding belly-band to go around the loaves.
